Angels

amanda

Amanda Villalona was born on August 28, 2007. Her brain tumor (AT/RT) was discovered three months later and on December 4, 2008 (the day Addison died) she had her first brain surgery. She, like all the AT/RT kids, fought for her life with a strength that seems impossible for a child so small. This sweet Princess with the beautiful smile, earned her angel wings on June 30, 2009. Her adoring family will miss her dearly as will the rest of us who only knew her via Care Pages. Amanda, you were a gift from God and I know that you are currently rejoicing in Heaven. God bless you precious Princess!

Jonathan Hunter Shaddix was born on July 28, 2007 and became an angel on May 7, 2009 after an intensive battle with AT/RT. We will all miss him terribly, but no one more than his Mommy & Daddy and big sister Paige. Jonathan's parents, Jeff and Katie Shaddix, have started the non-profit organization Children's Brain Tumor Research Foundation in hopes of finding treatment options for the children dieing from cancer everyday. You can visit CBTRF at www.cancerfamily.org Jonathan, you are a sweetheart. I know you're having a blast with all your friends up in Heaven and we look forward to seeing you again someday.

Blake

Blake Kurtz fought hard and did everything that was asked of him with the strength of Hercules. Sadly, AT/RT is a ruthless disease that shows little mercy and Blake earned his angel wings on April 27, 2009. He left behind a big family who will forever love and miss him. Blake, what a special little man you are. You've made such an impact on so many lives and will always remain a hero. Addi also loved SpongeBob and I can just see you two running through the fields of Heaven "jellyfishing" together. We'll see you soon Blake! Have fun!

Nathan Stovall earned his wings on September 29th, 2008 after a two year battle with AT/RT. He didn't quite make it to his 4th birthday and his stay here on earth was way shorter than any of us ever wanted. His short life, however, was filled with a special love that most people can only dream of. Nathan's parents showered him with love constantly and so did his Heavenly Father. Nathan reflected that love and sparkled like a diamond, making everyone around him a better human being. Nathan Andrew Stovall...we will always remember you, always love you, and will always praise God for allowing us to see you again in Heaven. Take care little angel!

Princess Cristina Vazquez was diagnosed with AT/RT in February 2007. This sweet baby girl did all she could and so did her loving parents. She is now in her heavenly home where she runs freely with all the other children. They are basking in God's light as they enjoy their cancer free days to the fullest. Have fun Princess Cristina!
