zoe

Zoe Earlywine is a gorgeous baby girl who was diagnosed with AT/RT at 6 months old. This little fighter has been through surgery, 6 rounds of chemo, and 6 weeks of radiation. As of March 2009 her scans are clear and she is doing great. Zoe, one look at you melts my heart. I pray that your letters ATRT have been traded for NED (no evidence of disease) FOREVER!

hailey

Hailey Ann Trainer was born on January 17, 2008. At just 7 months old, Hailey presented with torticollis (tilting her head to one side) followed by vomiting. After several misdiagnoses, Hailey's mom persisted and ended up finding the real problem, AT/RT. Hailey is currently involved in a rigorous treatment schedule necessary to save her life. Hailey's beautiful, big, blue eyes and bright smile cause everyone fall in love with her immediately. Girl, we know you have what it takes, so go get 'em!!!

brook

Brook Johnson was diagnosed with AT/RT in August of 2007. She had 2 surgeries, 4 rounds of chemo, 6 weeks of radiation and was "free" of disease. She was placed on maintenace chemo only to have another tumor show up on her spine 6 months later. After trying more chemo which did not stop the tumor from growing they opted for surgery and radiation. As of February 2009 Brook is once again declared cancer free. Boy, Brookie, you sure put up a good fight. I hope and pray that this cancer beast has finally gotten the picture...Brook Johnson will win!!!

shaine

Shaine was born on December 16, 2005. One year later, while everyone was ringing in the New Year, Shaine's rather large tumor was discovered. His first surgery was unsuccessful and with the diagnosis of AT/RT he was not given a very good prognosis. Well, after a successful surgery and treatments Shaine's February 2009 MRI is clear!!! As you can see from his picture, Shaine is a smiley little dude full of life. You are doing awesome Shaine! Keep smiling!!!

CalebCaleb, a precious baby boy, was diagnosed with AT/RT in January 2008. He was only 14 months old at the time. Caleb spent the last year with chemo, radiation, surgeries, medications, hospitals, and the many, many treatments that soon become a way of life for a cancer family. Today, he is doing quite well and we look forward to watching him beat this beast forever. Go, Caleb, go!

andrewAndrew Padfield is an adorable (with hair and without!) 2 year old who shares his parents zest for life. Just one look at his beautiful eyes and genuine smile and you know you’re looking at someone special. In August 2007, Andrew, at age 17 months, was diagnosed with a brain tumor (AT/RT). He is currently receiving very intensive chemotherapy and has had more than his share of medical procedures. Somehow, Andrew is still able to find his smile and roll with the punches. Andrew, you are a gift and we are honored to know you. Keep fighting!

To learn more about Andrew’s journey you can go to www.carepages.com and visit his site. You’ll need to type in his care page name which is: andrewpadfieldcarepage.
